Happy birthday to my favourite rabble-rouser, fellow Canadian Naomi Klein. I recently finished The Shock Doctrine, and it shouldn't have held any (or very many) surprises, but, not infrequently, it made me ill. It was epiphanic. Read it if you haven't already (and No Logo, too - and I know, it links to Amazon in the UK, but I really liked Penguin's cover).
